Platform Growth

May brought consistent progress to CAT III PHOTOS across nearly every aspect of the platform. Our registered user base grew from 81 to 103, marking an increase of approximately 27.2%. The image database has expanded from 633 to 843 photos, reflecting a strong 33.1% growth in uploads. This demonstrates a solid upward trend in user participation and content contribution.

The airport database saw the most dramatic expansion this month, jumping from 17,786 entries to 87,117 – an impressive increase of around 390%, massively improving the platform’s reach and coverage for location tagging. While the aircraft type count remains stable at 10,113, the number of airlines and operators has slightly risen from 6,748 to 6,751, marking a small but noteworthy 0.04% increase.

On Discord, our community has grown from 84 to 90 members, which equates to an increase of roughly 7.1%. While modest in numbers, we view this as a promising sign as we continue working on boosting server activity and engagement. 

Goals Moving Forward 

Our main focus for the upcoming months is to drive the growth of uploads, significantly increasing the volume of images in the database. As we continue to enhance the user experience, we aim to motivate users to share their content and contribute to the ever-expanding collection.

Starting from next month, we will be introducing earlier releases in the timeline, ensuring that new features and updates are available to users in a timely manner. This will allow us to keep the platform fresh, providing regular improvements that meet the needs of our community.

We are also committed to improving the activity on our Discord server. As a key element of community engagement, we plan to implement initiatives that will encourage more interaction, collaboration, and fun within the server. We believe that a vibrant, active community is crucial to the long-term success of CAT III PHOTOS, and we are working hard to make it a space where users can connect, share, and grow together.
